My hair journey after moving from Los Angeles to Las Vegas. I had already done some crazy things to my hair just before I moved... burned some off trying to learn to use a hot comb, gotten a jerry curl done by a stylist that didn't know what she was doing...

There was damage, not to mention the mental stresses that I was going through. My hair broke off so badly, it was really uneven in the back and I couldn't put it in a ponytail bun for the first time in 20 years.

I started getting protective styles and Aphogee treatments, then took over braiding it myself. It's past my shoulders again and seems healthy.
